New Product and Segment to Think About

We believe that women should be the next segment for Old Spice to go after. Women spend about $2000 a year on personal hygiene. They are a great new target audience to go after. We believe if Old Spice were to start making products for women they could capture a small but growing segment in the women's bath product industry. In a survey where they asked over 400 women, 67% they alone decide what bath products to buy. This is why we think they should start their advertising on women channels such as Oxygen or OWN and try to get into stores like Bath and Body Works, a store women predominantly shop at. We think young women should be the next target because they are already dominating the men's bath products and it's time to expand.
